Anchor Braided Fishing NetBracelet - Recycled from Chesil Beach, Dorset

These are bracelets made from recycled ghost nets from Chesil Beach, Dorset which I recovered during the pandemic in between working A&E night shifts at Dorchester.  I kept the nets in case I could create something with them. 

I always knew of the incredible work that Behaviour Change Cornwall had started and created from turning lost ghost nets and ocean plastic from our UK coastline into incredible gifts, making sure that this plastic never enters the sea and creating a perfect cycle of change going beyond sustainability. 

Did you know that 12 billion tonnes of plastic has been produced, that's enough to cover our planet two-times over.  Of this 12 billion tonnes, 6% was recycled just once, 8% was burnt and over 55% of all plastic was either never used or used only once and then discarded straight into the environment.

Sizing

1.  Wrap string, ribbon etc around your wrist where you'll wear your bracelet
2. Measure the length exactly in cms and add 0.5 cms to make it comfortable
3. Select one of our sizes of bracelet - which is the length including the clasp (bracelets vary by a few mms)

XL - 24 cms     L - 22 cms     M - 20 cms     S - 18 cms     XS - 16.5 cms

Please note that the blue may be a slightly different shade to the one in these pictures due to the net being lighter, which you can see in the images taken when it was found.

We can engrave up to 18 characters or numbers including spaces.  Please choose carefully as we will not rectify, replace or compensate for any errors (unless the error was ours).  We do not accept returns or exchanges of products once they are engraved.
