Getting Started in Underwater Photography e-Book

Maria is a multi-award winning photographer, passionate coach and instructor based in Dorset, UK, who has lived in Greece, Spain, USA and Mexico.  She has helped over 20 guests starting out as beginners and watched them win prizes and become accomplished authors and photographers worldwide. 

Erick Higuera, National Geographic Explorer, BBC Planet Contributor, recent contributor to BBC Mammals, Award-Winning Filmmaker - it only seems like yesterday when he started off with a compact camera, an Olympus 5060, knowing nothing at all when I shared my knowledge with him over a coffee in La Paz, Mexico.

Daniel Norwood came to me in 2007 not knowing how to use his strobe effectively with his Fuji F31.  After a one day course he went away and won the British Society of Underwater Photographer's competition beating the Chairman by 27 points, won Sport Diver Diver Photographer of the Month and became an award-winning filmmaker and photographer and is now the editor of DivePhotoGuide, the world's largest online magazine.

David Smith came on a beginners course in Oxford and went on to win Countryfile's Calendar of the Year Competition.

Rebecca Cole came on a one-day course with me and won Sport Diver Photographer of the Month twice and has written for the Guardian newspaper.
