I can't believe that it's been almost a year since I took over this gorgeous little spot, nestled in the centre of some of the most stunning scenery in the world. And what better way to celebrate than to launch an on-line store to keep in touch with everyone who is lucky enough to visit.
So today I decided to bring out the Irish side in me, thanks to my late grand-father, Simba donned his new pair of specs and did our best to make people smile. And it seemed to work ....
There's still a lot to do before our official re-opening on Easter Saturday, but I really want to say a special thank you to lovely Heather and Mary who I helped with their photography early this morning just past 6 am on the River Frome and to Jan and Jasmine who visited my gallery today for a lovely chat.
Thank you too to everyone who's supported my work here over the past year. At times it has felt like a huge roller coaster ride since I arrived 3 and a half years ago, but to see visitor's faces this past week has made it all worth it.
I look forward to welcoming you here to the gorgeous Isle of Purbeck this year.
