It's been another fabulous week at the studio helping guests to bring their memories back to life from slides and print film from as far back as the Sixties!
I was so proud scanning 92 slides last Friday and carefully going through each one to adjust colours, making sure that any marks were removed and printing them off for one guest and burning others onto a CD for them to share with their families.
The scanner used (my faithful Nikon) has an amazing "Digital Ice System" which automatically removes fine lines & dust which are a common occurrence in older slides and film. Here are a sample of the "Before" and "After" effect.
A Same-Day or Next Day Service is possible, depending on the number that you would like scanned and printed which is all done here in the studio.
Prices start at 50p for a sample scan per slide, to 75p for scanning and a 6 x 4 inch print. Copies can be made on a CD, Slideshows onto a DVD or simply popped onto a personalised USB stick to make a treasured gift.
William who was my first guest last week popped in today with a gorgeous thank you gift, enough doggie treats to spoil the whole of Wareham and Swanage, he was so grateful for the speedy, personalised service that was offered.
There's nothing as exciting as being able to see images of old slides in vibrant colour and memories brought back to life to share with guests' family & friends and I've truly loved creating them this week. So much so, I was glued to my scanner before my A&E night shift yesterday after a guest came in in the afternoon with the order all ready to be picked up as soon as I finished this morning.
