Last Saturday saw me being invited by Swanage Town Council to help them promote the incredible marine life that we have in Swanage Bay. I helped provide them with images, leaflets from the Marine Conservation Society and Project Seagrass as well as various findings that I had found on our beach.
The only problem was that was no-one was coming to talk to us, so back to the studio I went and put on my favourite costume to help bring people to the Sustainable Swanage stand.
It was truly heartmelting when children came running up to me to give me a hug and to chat to so many people about our seas. I was invited by Radio Wimborne to talk on their radio in the future and also to Planet Wimborne to showcase my work there which I'm really excited about. Sustainable Wareham have also asked me to their Christmas Fayre as well.
A huge thank you to Cllrs Cliff Sutton and to Sarah for the lovely chats and to the Sustainable Swanage team. Really excited about future plans.
