What an amazing night it was being invited to Blandford Camera Club to give two talks on our underwater world. It's just the best feeling to be able to show non-divers the beauty of our seas, chat about conservation issues and inspire how they too can take incredible images and video using just their everyday smartphone, action cam or compact camera.

This is what Ian Ferris, the Club Secretary, had to say about the evening:
"When Maria visited us at the club last night, we were treated to a very insightful invite into her life and exploits underwater, both local and worldwide. Her presentation was excellent and enlightening to all. A real pleasure to meet and listen to her story. We look forward to her next visit."

The hughest thank you goes to one of the members, Rachel for a lift back to Poole in the worst rainstorm I'd been caught in. I'm so pleased that she loved the presentation too. This is what she thought of it.
"Maria really opened our eyes as to what is on our Dorset doorstep. Enthusiastic, interesting and talented, a delightful and inspiring presentation."
They enjoyed it so much, they booked me the very next day to go back next year. Can't wait to see them.
