No sooner had I finished helping Jacqui and her lovely family when they alerted me to something yellow floating out to sea. There was no option, I had to forget about how lovely I felt being dry and warm, jump back into my wetsuit and go and get it.
I caught up with this lovely traffic cone from Wessex Water at Swanage Pier and I'm not going to lie, it was such a chonk to bring back to shore. On the way back I decided to go and do a check of one of my favourite litter picking corners in town by Gee Whites.
Sure enough, there was the usual sludge that I had to wade through to grab ice cream cups, plastic wrappers, plastic cups, bottle tops and even found a Gee White's menu nestled in the sand. That did make me chuckle :)
After another 2 hour snorkel, it was time to get out and return the menu to Gee Whites.
