Ghost Net Removal in Swanage Bay
I'm still finding it hard to believe that ghost nets seem to be everywhere at the moment and it breaks my heart to see so much of our beautiful ocean marine life tangled up in them. Monofilament net is highly invisible underwater, hugely dangerous to anything that finds it's way into it and can be a nightmare to cut. One of my regular visitors to my studio came to me. on Christmas Eve distraught that he had found this net up by The Grand Hotel and. had tried to cut it but it was stuck on the end of a...
Christmas Time in Swanage
Phew where did the year go to but it certainly finished on an absolute high helping Anna master her underwater photography skills in preparation for her upcoming trip to Egypt with Emperor Divers and welcome lots of lovely guests of all ages to the studio, plus make an appearance at Swanage Market to bring a smile to visitor's faces. It was hugely busy and I'm so grateful to each and every one of you who came to visit me. I always feel a bit shy not having a gazebo but the lovely Rotary Club have promised me one...
Planet Purbeck Festival
After a whirlwind week from Swanage to the New Forest for my night shift then to Birmingham, back to the New Forest, Windsor to pay my respects to our Queen who I helped to protect indirectly through my work with the Metropolitan Police, then back to Birmingham, it was time to head back to Swanage to help our brilliant Planet Purbeck team and raise some ocean awareness. It really was all about teamwork with Dorset Wildlife Trust, Swanage Beach Buddies and the brilliant Clare from Surfers Against Sewage taking part too. It really was an amazing event and although...
The Ocean Film Festival Comes to Poole Lighthouse
. Words can't describe how brilliant it was to be back helping the brilliant Ocean Film Festival team at Poole last Autumn and was super pleased for them to see how busy it was and how many visitors wanted to enter the competitions. The films were just as incredible as ever, Nell smashed it with her introductory presentations to the film and it was fab working with Jo again. If you get a chance to go this year, I really can't recommend it enough xx

It was absolutely amazing to meet so many visitors right opposite the Sony Stand, even local neighbours too! And yes, I even made new friends too. Can't wait to see...
