Gifts are always a lovely surprise to the studio and it really touched me to receive this poster when I arrived to the studio one rainy day last December to say thank you from my local RNLI for the donation I gave them from running my summer snorkelling courses.  I love being able to give back to my community here and it was really touching to receive this.  Thank you so very much to them all for the incredible work that they do.

It was a very quiet Christmas (my choice) but it was lovely to see returning guests to Swanage and to be able to create their Christmas Gifts for them.  These two ladies are nurses in London and I loved helping them to create canvas and coaster gifts for them and their families. There's no better feeling than going out to help the ocean after it's helped my well-being so much.  This summer has been all about keeping Swanage Bay clean, making sure than when me and my guests see litter underwater, that we pick it up. From wet wipes to plastic, eco crabbing nets that have become stuck on the underwater reef environment, and even the Daily Mail Wine Section (which was being read by a Shrimp Family when I found it) it's been quite eye-opening to see how it's accepted as the "norm" by passers-by.
